Approval In Writing Came

Well, I got the actual approval in writing today in the mail. Wow, what a relief to get that. My friend got back in town yesterday, so she came over today. It's been 3 months and 2 days and wow she looks great! Just makes me want it even more seeing her results. Hard to believe it's only 12 days away. Next Wednesday is the pre-op appointment where I'll get my vitals done and my weight. Yikes....12 days!

Approval has been received

Well, I just got a call from the surgery center and they got the approval from my insurance, so it looks like this is really going to happen! 13 days to go!

Just talked to my friend who is 3 months out today and she has lost 65lbs. OMG, how awesome will that be if I have those results. Considering I need to lose 150lbs to get to my goal weight. Now that the approval has been received, I think I can finally start getting excited about the surgery. I've tried not to in case something didn't pan out, but it seems like so far everything is working out. I'm so excited to start my new, healthy life. I think about being able to play with my daughter and chase after my son and I just can't wait.

2 Weeks to Go

Well, if all goes well, two weeks from today I'll have my procedure. I started the semi diet today to try and lose at least 5lbs. I talked to the surgery center today and they said everything was fine and that they talked to my insurance and they'd have the approval code by Friday. I made my appointment today for a facial and pedicure. Time is going by so fast, but still slow at the same time!

16 Days to Go

Well, today was a very busy day. I finished up the work for my one client that was really behind. I will NEVER get that far behind again! Going forward I'll do the books every month! Anyways, I spent several hours working on that. We got the tree finished and the decorations all finshed too. The tree is beautiful. Hopefully Wednesday we can do the outside lights. I got the names on most of the envelopes for the Christmas cards. We got most of the laundry done too. 2 loads left, but Steven can do those tomorrow. Just watching Desperate Housewives then I'm going to bed. I need a good night's sleep. Anyways, going to call the surgery center tomorrow to find out if they got insurance approval.

Almost Ready for Christmas

Well, we got most of the Christmas stuff up today. We got the tree put together and some ornaments on it and all of the decorations out. We will finish the ornaments tomorrow and hopefully get the outside lights up next weekend. I'm almost done with shopping. Just have to get 2 giftcards and some dried apples for my grandfather and something for my step dad and I'll be finished....Finally!!! Other than getting christmas stuff out, we just did some running around. 17 Days and counting!

Well Made It Through Thanksgiving

Well, I made it through my "final" Thanksgiving. Surprisingly, knowing this would be the last Thanksgiving I could "Eat" I really didn't over-do it. I only had 1 plate with a little of everything. I did have a slice of pumpkin pie though! Yum! My sister and I went shopping today for all of the bargins! We had a lot of fun and got a ton of stuff for good prices! Well, counting down the days, only 18 days until my surgery date. I can't believe I'm now within 3 weeks. Time is going much faster than I thought it would. I'm a little worried though because I haven't received anything confirming the insurance approved the surgery or anything. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
