5 Days

Only 5 more days. Wow, so anxious, these 5 days will probably go by super slow! We went to see Santa today and Athena was having no part of that. She cried and cried. At least we got to snap the picture! Anyways, off to bed.

Pre-Op Appointment

Well, I had my pre-op appointment today. I weighed in at 307..yikes! My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday at 2:30pm. I have to be there at 10am. I will only have to stay one night. I thought it would be two, but the doctor said normally one is enough. I will be on a pureed diet for 4 weeks. There is really no limit with lifting or driving or anything, so that's good. I can't believe in 6 days it'll be time. I'm suppose to start my period Friday, which sucks, but I guess it's better I'll be almost done before the surgery....I'd hate to think of having to go throught that right after surgery. Didn't mean to share so much, but hey, you know how much I weigh I mean come on! About two weeks after surgery I'll have to start taking vitamens and a gall bladder pill. I'm not sure how long you have to take that one, if it's only for a few years or just when you're going through rapid weight loss. So Christmas dinner will be some yummy mush! :) But gosh, it will be worth it. Well, I'm watching a Primetime special, What Would You Do? So far it's pretty good. Have to wrap one more gift too. We got my dad a big thing of foreign beers for X-mas. Anyways, I'm sure I'll be posting daily now that I'm so close.

One Week Out

Well, one week from today is the day! I went and got my cashiers checks for my copay. I think that's when it really kicked in that I'm a week out! OMG. My pre-op is tomorrow at 10. It will be a group appointment and will take about 2 hours. Then after that I have to go to the hospital to register. It'll be nice because people at the appointment tomorrow will be having the surgery the same week as me. Well, I'll follow-up tomorrow with what time my surgery is.

9 Days and Counting

Well, we're at 9 days.....almost there! Today was a busy day eventhough we didn't leave the house. Let's see Jacob has friends over to play for a few hours. I got a ton of laundry done and we got the outside Christmas lights done. I had a client who I had to send out Christmas cards for, so I got those addressed today too. My friend who had the surgery brought over a bag of clothes today. Mostly shorts and T-Shirts. If I can fit into that stuff by summer I will be so super happy! She was over today and I just can't get over how great she looks. I'm so happy for her and incredibly jealous at the same time! Anyways, Pre-Op is in 3 days...going to get my cashier's checks, for my co-pay, on Tuesday.

10 More Days

Well, I'm almost there, a week and 3 days. Time is going by so fast and so slow at the same time. I'm getting very very anxious and nervous. I'm just ready to get it done and move forward. I've got the Christmas cards done, just need to put pictures in them. I think almost everything is done. Just need to mail 2 packages and then all the gifts are done.
