It is hard to belive it has been 2 years since my surgery. I got on the scale this morning and was at my normal, 142, which made me very happy. So far I'm doing good with maintaining, I just pray I can make that same comment in another 2 years.
I can run
I can run up and down stairs 4-5 times in a row without huffing
I can paint my own toe nails
I can get up off the floor without having to use my hands or bracing myself
I can get in/out of the car like a normal person
I can run errands (we're talking 6-7 stores) and not think twice about it
I can feel confident when walking around
I can smile for no reason at all because I'm proud of myself
I can do anything I put my mind to
2 years ago today I made a choice to change my life and boy oh boy has my life changed!

Awesome post and very encouraging!
Wow great post and so inspiring for someone who is considering this surgery. I'm just skeered, LOL. I can relate to the huffing and puffing and not being able to paint my toenails though. Thanks, I needed this today!
Congrats Amber!!!! You should be very proud of yourself. So many think this surgery is a quick fix, but in all reality it is anything but. Thank you for being a success story not just in the first year when weight loss is so easy but 2 years later!!!
You have made such a wonderful committment to yourself and given yourself so many more wonderful years of a healthy life! You have to be proud of that and all you will continue to achieve!
